Reasons Why Ontario’s 15% Foreign Buyer Tax (NRST) Is Not Refundable

We have received a lot of calls recently regarding Ontario's 15% Foreign Buyers Tax (NRST), and the vast majority of people are eligible for a tax refund. However, a small number of people have lost their eligibility to refund the 15% foreign buyer tax because they have not met the specified time or have changed their status.

Today, Jinni, an accountant at Wang Ke Accounting Firm, summarized some examples to remind buyers who are preparing to pay the 15% overseas buyer tax or are preparing to apply for a tax refund.
