Non-resident tax ID application

Canada is a tax country. I am not a Canadian resident but I have income in Canada. Do I need to file a tax return? Overseas residents or non-Canadian tax residents are obliged to report income to the Canada Revenue Agency when they generate income in Canada. If the conditions are met, you can apply for relevant deductions from the tax agency.

To file taxes in Canada, you must have a tax number.

Non-residents can first apply for an Individual Tax Number (ITN)

Or Temporary Tax Number (TTN).

✅ Personal phone number

✳️ The fee is $113 and the government processing time is approximately 45 days.
