Is it troublesome to close the company? What is the process for closing the company? How much does it cost

If you want to start a company and no longer want to run it, or sell the business and want to do something else, that's fine. But you must finish everything from the beginning to the end, properly handle the company's legacy issues, and close the company according to the government tax bureau regulations and make sure it is closed completely.

In fact, to close a provincial company normally, the first step is to determine the final date for closing the company, which is what we usually call up to date, to ensure that all the previous payments, accounts payable, and some tax refunds are processed before this date, and then you can close the bank account and various tax numbers, including HST tax number, Payroll tax number, corporate income tax number, import and export tax number, etc.
The day you close all the tax numbers is considered to be up to date. After that, you need to pay taxes, including all taxes from the establishment of the company to the official closing day.

When all accounts and taxes are settled, you can then submit an application to the provincial government, telling the government department that you want to close the company and that you have paid all the taxes you owe. After they have communicated with the tax bureau and confirmed that all your taxes have been paid, the government will issue you a consent form to close the company, which we call a consent form.

What you need to note here is that receiving this consent form does not mean that the company has been closed. Many friends will fall here and think that the matter is over. In fact, it is not. Within 60 days after receiving the consent form, you need to send the company closure fee of 25 yuan together with relevant documents back to the government. After they receive it, they will officially close your company.
